We offer a great variety of exchange options on the master's level that cater to a wide range of interests – there's something for everyone! Look up potential partner institutions for MMFACT students in the Central International Office's database. There, you will also find experience reports of former exchange students of other study programs.

Application

Apply for an exchange placement in your third or fourth semester during your first semester of the MMFACT (application deadline: 15 October). You can also consider applying directly to a foreign higher education institution as a “freemover” – this means organizing the stay yourself but we are happy to provide advice.

Course Recognition

To better plan the recognition of your coursework, you need to complete an “internal learning agreement” with your study abroad advisor in Mannheim before your semester abroad. After your return, you must submit a formal application for credit transfer to the Examination Committee. You will find details on the recognition process and grade conversion on our e-learning platform ILIAS by the beginning of the semester.
