Letters of Recommendation
The Dean’s Office of the Business School coordinates all requests for letters of recommendation for students and alumni of the Business School. We check your information, recommend an appropriate chair to you and provide you with the details of the relevant contact person who will coordinate the next steps with you. Please note that we must receive your request at least four weeks prior to the expiration of a potential deadline. Your request can only be processed and possibly forwarded to chairs of the Business School in case all necessary documents have been received. Therefore, it is very important that you pay close attention to all requirements.
We coordinate letters of recommendation for:
- Students (at least in their second semester) who seek a degree at the University of Mannheim, Business School
- Alumni of the University of Mannheim, Business School (in case of applications for master programs and scholarships)
Students or alumni of other schools can only request a maximum of one letter of recommendation.
We do not coordinate letters of recommendation for:
- Exchange students who only spent one semester at the University of Mannheim
- Chairs of other schools, such as the School of Law or Economics
