European Management Track (EMT)
Be part of a successful, sustainable future Europe!

The University of Mannheim Business School has joined forces with three other leading European business schools – Copenhagen Business School, ESSEC Business School in Paris and IE Business School in Madrid – to establish the EMT program and offer MMM students a unique opportunity to gather intercultural experience, expertise in sought-after fields of business administration and a strong European profile. EMT students of all four schools will get to know each other during an introductory course in Brussels and then spend a semester abroad at one of the EMT partner schools. Each of the partners has created a specific track to prepare students for leading future roles, thus making valuable contributions to Europe’s future.

Program structure and timeline
MMM students who have been selected for the EMT program will take part in a four day introductory course in Brussels mid of August 2026, along with the entire cohort of EMT students from all four partner schools. The course fee will be paid for by the EMT network, students will only have to pay for their travel and accomodation. After getting to know each other and learning more about European institutions and politics, each student will spend the fall semester 2026 at their respective EMT partner school, where they will study the EMT specialization on offer (2–3 courses) and potentially complete further coursework. After the semester, an informal get-together will form the capstone for the EMT program and provide an opportunity to discuss and reflect experiences and insights.
Formal Details of the European Management Track can be found in the EMT guidlines (PDF, 162 kB) for students of the University of Mannheim.
