Dr. Robin-Christopher Ruhnau receives the Karin-Islinger-Award

The Mannheim scientist and post-doctoral researcher Dr. Robin-Christopher Ruhnau receives the Karin-Islinger- Award for his dissertation on “Customer Recovery Management.”

The Karin Islinger Foundation annually awards young researchers, such as Dr. Ruhnau, for outstanding scientific work. Dr. Ruhnau received the award for his dissertation at the University of Mannheim on the topic of “Customer win-back management – the integration of customer engagement for an extended understanding of win-back measures.” He conducts research at the Chair of Business-to-Business Marketing, Sales and Pricing of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Christian Homburg.

In his dissertation project, Dr. Ruhnau investigates in several empirical studies how companies can influence various behaviors of their lost customers with targeted win-back measures. With his dissertation, Dr. Ruhnau thus makes a significant contribution to research in the field of customer recovery as well as to corporate practice.

About the Karin-Islinger Award

The Karin-Islinger-Foundation awards outstanding scientific research work at the University of Mannheim in the field of economics and its border areas. The prize is endowed with 1,000 euros and serves to promote research projects. The prize is awarded annually for scientific work that is relevant to the industrial working world or its socio-political framework conditions.
