Fall Forum of the Interdisciplinary Center for Intellectual Property Rights (IZG)

One of the main focuses is a genuine “Mannheim case”: Does the shape and packaging design used by the manufacturer of a Mannheim oat bar infringe upon the trademark of a well-known chocolate manufacturer that has gained recognition through use in the marketplace?

The Interdisciplinary Center for Intellectual Property Rights (IZG) at the University of Mannheim invites you to its Fall Symposium on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The event begins at 6:15 p.m. and will take place both at Mannheim Schloss and online.

The IZG brings together academia, legal practitioners, and businesses to discuss current issues surrounding the protection and commercialization of Intellectual Property Rights.
