Research prizes awarded by the Mannheim Business School

Two research awards were presented in May at the Business School Convention. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in cutting-edge research, securing research funding, fostering scientific talent, and commitment to the research community.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Reichelstein, holder of the endowed chair in Business Administration, receives the “Best Senior Researcher Award 2024”. His research ranks him among the world’s leading scholars in the field of sustainable energy systems and energy economics. At the University of Mannheim, he is establishing the Mannheim Institute for Sustainable Energy Studies (MISES), whose research focuses on the business and economic costs of the energy transition.
The “Best Junior Researcher Award 2024” goes to Dr. Max Reinwald, Assistant Professor of Management. The award was given due to his outstanding research output and the significant theoretical and practical relevance of his work. Through his work, he has established himself as one of the most productive and, at the same time, most distinguished young researchers in the field of organizational behavior.
