MBS Masterclasses: Expertise for Everyday Work
Mannheim Business School (MBS), part of the University of Mannheim, is opening its doors to the entire university community: With the new “Mannheim Masterclass Series,” all members of the University of Mannheim gain easy access to practically relevant knowledge from leading experts – directly applicable in their own work context. In just 60 minutes, participants experience how professors from the Business School and adjunct faculty decode the most important business topics of our time. They receive clear frameworks, fresh perspectives, and ideas that can be effectively applied in daily work. All sessions are conducted in English, take place online, and are free of charge.

On 18 February 2026 (1–2 p.m.), Prof. Dr. Eric Kearney asks: What happens to leadership when AI thinks faster than we do? Artificial intelligence is already taking over planning, reporting, coordination, and control – tasks that have long been considered core management responsibilities. But where do people fit in? The masterclass examines what machines will soon do better than us, where human leadership remains indispensable, and how leaders can succeed in an AI-driven world.
