The tool is enabled as part of the existing Microsoft 365 license and draws on up-to-date information from the internet. Log in with your university ID followed by @ad.uni-mannheim.de (e.g., mmusterm@ad.uni-mannheim.de). Copilot can be used for a range of everyday tasks: drafting texts, preparing presentations, conducting research, uploading and summarizing documents, and analyzing data.
One important restriction applies: personal data may not be entered into the system. Work-related information classified up to TLP: green may be processed; learn more about TLP classification levels (in German).
