Prof. Homburg Ranked #12 Worldwide in the UTD Marketing Productivity Ranking

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Christian Homburg, holder of the Chair of B2B Marketing, Sales, and Pricing at the University of Mannheim, has been ranked among the Top 12 most productive marketing researchers worldwide in the recently published UTD Marketing Productivity Ranking 1990–2025.

The ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis of publication output across 24 UTD-ranked journals over a 35-year period, encompassing 17,264 publications by 2,553 researchers worldwide.

Prof. Homburg's record includes 44 UTD-ranked publications, 41 of which are in marketing. This ranking is a remarkable testament to the long-term international visibility and impact of marketing research at the University of Mannheim – and to the sustained scholarly work that Prof. Homburg has carried out with his team over decades.
