Run with your Prof – Tax Run Club 2026

The first “Run with your Prof – Tax Run Club” was a great success! Around 100 students joined us on September 23 for a 5-km run through Mannheim, with beautiful autumn sunshine and a great atmosphere.

The event was initiated by Prof. Marcel Olbert and joined by Prof. Christoph Spengel, giving students the chance to connect with their professors in a more informal setting. After the run, there was plenty of time to chat and get to know each other over drinks at Café EO.

The event was sponsored by COBRA and MaFAT e. V.. A big thank you to KPMG Mannheim for supporting the event withdrinks and goodies, and to Dominic Rautenberg from EO for his great help in making the evening happen. DJ Jelly also made sure that the good atmosphere continued after the run.

We would also like to thank the MaFAT Student Club for planning and leading the route and for their great support throughout the event.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so enjoyable! The feedback was very positive, and we have already heard requests for a regular running club. Maybe this won’t be the last time we runtogether!
