Sebastian Gehrlein successfully defended his doctoral dissertation

We congratulate Sebastian Gehrlein for the successful completion of his doctorate.

On September-3, 2021, Sebastian Gehrlein successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Effects of Personal Characteristics on Performance Outcomes in Supply Chain Management.” In his dissertation, Sebastian addressed several research questions revolving around performance implications of individual professionals in the supply chain context. More specifically, he investigated how personal traits and characteristics effect decision-making behavior and career success. Several elements of his dissertation have been presented at international conferences and are being prepared for journal publications. In addition to Prof. Bode, who supervised the dissertation project, Prof. Fleischmann served as referee on the dissertation committee.
