COBRA Soft Launch at Mannheim Business School

On June 9th, the soft launch of COBRA – the Mannheim Center for Corporate Behavior and Regulation Analysis at Mannheim Business School – took place.
Founded by Prof. Marcel Olbert, the Center brings together empirically grounded research on regulation, taxation, financial markets, corporate decision-making, and public policy. COBRA aims to foster collaborative, data-driven research while supporting the next generation of academic talent through dedicated infrastructure, funding, and research programs.
Beyond its academic work, the Center also pursues a strong outreach strategy by contributing evidence-based insights to public and policy debates.
The launch event was attended by members of the COBRA and MBS community. MBS Dean Joachim Lutz also addressed the audience, expressing his support for the Center’s future development.
Special thanks are extended to the University of Mannheim and Mannheim Business School for their strong support in establishing COBRA and its research community.
