CSS Special Interest Workshop in Stuttgart

Together with the IMS, we organized a Workshop on Computational Social Science that brought together researchers from the University of Stuttgart and the University of Mannheim for academic exchange and collaboration.

Together with the IMS, we organized a Computational Social Science (CSS) Workshop as an academic exchange event for researchers working on computational and social scientific approaches. The workshop brought together participants from IRIS, the IMS, and CSS at the University of Stuttgart, as well as the Chair of Data Science in the Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim.

Across presentations and interactive discussions, participants shared their research, received feedback, and explored recent developments in AI and CSS. The sessions highlighted key concepts, methods, and practical tools, and examined how computational approaches can be used to study complex social, cultural, and institutional questions related to AI and society.

The workshop fostered active participation and interdisciplinary exchange, creating space for new ideas, methodological reflection, and emerging collaborations among researchers with diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
