On March 18, 2021, the Mannheim Institute for Market-Oriented Management (IMU) held its first digital spring conference focusing on the topic “Turning Data into In-sights – Customer Engagement in the Digital Age”.
Following last year's cancellation of the IMU Spring Conference due to COVID-19, the conference was held entirely digitally for the first time, streamed from the lecture hall of the Baroque Palace in Mannheim. 380 participants from academia and industry, interested in current topics in marketing and sales, participated in the conference. Thanks to the possibility of asking direct questions to the speakers in a chat, the conference's interactive character was maintained, and a lively exchange between practice and science became possible once again this year.
