“Pro-Curement-Award 2019” for Michael Ludäscher's master thesis

Michael Ludäscher won the “Pro-Curement-Award 2019” for his master thesis “Benchmarking CSR Performance using Data Envelopment Analysis”

Michael Ludäscher has been awarded with the “Pro-Curement-Award 2019” by the Palatinate/Rhine-Neckar region of the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) for his master thesis “Benchmarking CSR Performance using Data Envelopment Analysis”. The master thesis was supervised by Sebastian Gehrlein at the Endowed Chair of Procurement. In his master thesis, Michael Ludäscher benchmarked the corporate social responsibility performance in terms of efficiency of firms from several clusters by deriving and applying a data envelopment analysis model with appropriate input and output variables based on a detailed literature review.

The “Pro-Curement-Award” is awarded for oustanding bachelor and master theses that adress the field of procurement and includes monetary prizes of EUR 1,000 and EUR 2,000 for the respective categories.
