Paper on Digital Transformation published

Congratulations to Dr. Dominik Wielgos, Prof. Christian Homburg and Prof. Christina Kühnl, whose paper on Digital Business Capability (DBC) has recently been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, one of the most renowned journals in the field of Marketing.

Digital transformation forces firms to develop foundational capability to remain competitive. But why are some firms more successful in developing critical digital business capabilities (DBC), when do investments in DBC pay off, and how can DBC be measured?

By providing empirically grounded answers to these questions, the authors provide actionable implications for managers on how to create, deliver, and acquire new forms of value in today's competitive marketplace, both in a business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) firms.
