This week our assistant professor Dr. Sergej von Janda received the 'Baden-Württemberg Certificate for Teaching and Learning at University Level' by the state-wide 'Baden-Württemberg Centre for Teaching and Learning (HDZ)'.
The certificate was awardedat the University of Mannheim by Prof. Dr. Angelika Storrer, Vice Rector for Studies, Teaching and Equal Opportunities.
As part of the state-wide network of the HDZ, lecturers of the University of Mannheim have the opportunity to acquire the certificate.
In addition to intensive study of the theoretical foundations of university pedagogy, the knowledge is tested in numerous exercises and embedded in the lecturers' own teaching.
