84. Annual Academic Conference of the Verband der Hochschullehrerinnen und Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft (VHB)
This year’s VHB conference at Leuphana University, which was co-organized by Prof. Dr. Brauer as member of the board of the Commission for Strategic Management (WK Strategie), was a great success and rewarded attendees with valuable insights. Amongst others, we had the pleasure to welcome Burkhard Schwenker (former Chairman of the Supervisory Board and CEO of Roland Berger; current Chairman of the Board of the Zeit-Stiftung) with whom we discussed the power of scenarios and the perils of overreliance on quantification in times of uncertainty and geopolitical tensions.
Inspiring young minds of our strategist community presented intriguing new research projects as part of our famously unconventional “Poster & Wine” sessions. Another highlight was our session on “AI-empowered strategy teaching”. Our panelists, Dana-Kristin Mah, Sabine Baumann and Christian Stadler presented fantastic use cases.
