Sustainability in Teaching at Mannheim Business School

Mannheim Business School educates leaders who take responsibility and drive sustainable development in business and society. Sustainability and social responsibility are therefore integrated in all study programs, with ESG topics embedded across bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, and doctoral curricula. Students take mandatory courses such as Business Ethics (BBA) or Corporate Social Responsibility (MMM), and have numerous opportunities to engage beyond the curriculum.

Mannheim Master in Sustainable Business & Technology

The Mannheim Master in Sustainable Business & Technology is a part-time master’s program that equips students with practical methods for developing sustainable business strategies. Students learn to make data-driven decisions and create long-term competitive advantages.

CSR and Sustainable Business in MMM Program

In addition to the required ESG module, students in the MMM program can take additional courses focused on CSR, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable management, thereby preparing themselves for a career in sustainable business.

Global Sustainability Management Program

The two-semester GSM program is offered to MMM students in collaboration with the partner universities of ENGAGE.EU. It combines current sustainability research with international practical experience. Students work on projects, participate in workshops, and build an international network.

Global Innovation Challenge

The Global Innovation Challenge offers MMM students an intensive international learning experience. Together with students from seven internationally accredited business schools, they work on real corporate projects and further develop their innovation and problem-solving skills.

Mannheim Female Leadership Academy

The Mannheim Female Leadership Academy (MFLA) supports talented female students on their path to leadership and top management positions. Through practice-oriented training, exchange with role models, and access to exclusive networks, the program strengthens key competencies and supports the development of sustainable careers.
