Business Administration in Mannheim Leads Nationwide in CHE Ranking of Master’s Programs

In a recent student survey conducted as part of the ranking of master’s programs of the Centre for Higher Education (CHE), the master’s program in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim ranks in the leading group in all categories.

The University of Mannheim is an excellent place to study Business Administration at master’s level. This is shown by the current CHE University Ranking of master’s programs. The Mannheim Master in Management ranks in the leading group in all eight categories. Together with the Technical University of Munich and the Finance and Information Management (FIM) program, which is a cooperation project of various universities, the Mannheim Master in Management received the most top grades. The master’s programs in Economics and Business Informatics were also evaluated in the ranking. In the categories “transition to master’s studies” and “course offer”, these programs were ranked among the top entries. In the other categories, they ranked towards the middle.

In order to rank the universities, the CHE regularly conducts a survey among enrolled students. In the categories “general study situation”, “course offer”, “organization of studies”, “support during studies”, “support through teaching staff”, “research orientation”, “support in studying abroad”, and “transition to master's studies”, the Business Administration program at the University of Mannheim scores higher than the German average, often significantly so (especially regarding the general study situation, studying abroad, and research orientation).

The CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed university ranking in German-speaking countries. It is based on surveys among more than 120,000 students which the Centre for Higher Education regularly carries out at more than 300 higher education institutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

You can find the results for the ranking online at https://ranking.zeit.de/che/de/masterranking and in the print edition 1/2021 of the ZEIT Campus magazine.
