Successful IMU Spring Conference 2019

“The digital customer: Reinventing sales and customer relationship management?”

On 28 March 2019, the Mannheim Institute for Market-Oriented Management (IMU) hosted its annual spring conference on the subject of “The digital customer: reinvention of sales and customer relationship management”. The focus was on the lively exchange between practice and science.

The Institute for Market-Oriented Management at the University of Mannheim sees itself as a forum for dialogue between science and practice. The aim of the IMU's research is to generate scientific findings that are important for market-oriented management. Our maxim is highest quality and practical relevance.

The scientifically high standard is guaranteed by the close connection of the IMU to the Chair of Marketing & Innovation and the Chair of Business-to-Business Marketing, Sales & Pricing and at the University of Mannheim. 

The scientific directors of the IMU are Prof. Dr. Sabine Kuester and Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Christian Homburg.
