DESS at GOR'26

At GOR'26 we enjoyed an opportunity to present our research and engage with the online research community.

The GOR'26 conference took place at the Rheinische Hochschule Cologne on the 26th and 27th of February. There were talks about the latest innovations in online research, including data linking approaches and the role of AI in enhancing survey data collection. Georg Ahnert showcased research on 'Joint Evaluation of LLM and Human Annotations with MultiTrait–MultiError Models' in the poster session.

Abigail Hayes and Jana Jüng both competed in the Master Thesis competition, alongside another student who was supervised at our chair. They gave presentations on 'Reinforcement Learning for the Vehicle Routing Problem' and 'Measuring Ambivalent Sexism in Large Language Models: A Validation Study' respectively.
