#ExchangeStories – Video Contest for Incoming Exchange Students

Are you currently an international student at Mannheim Business School? Then take part in our video contest and show us what makes your semester abroad in Mannheim so special!

Capture your personal impressions and experiences as an incoming business student. Whether it's university life, new friendships, cultural highlights, or your favorite place in Mannheim—we look forward to your story!

Who can take part in the contest?

The video contest is open to all international students who are enrolled at a university abroad and are spending a semester abroad at Mannheim Business School. International students of the European Management Track and the Double Degree Programs are welcome to participate as well.

What are the technical specifications for the video?

Videos must not be longer than 90 seconds and must be recorded in portrait format (format of Instagram Reels). Apart from that, it is up to you how you want to design the video. We look forward to seeing lots of creative ideas.

What is the timeline?

Starting now, you can begin collecting material for your video, which will then be submitted between 30 October and 14 November 2025. More details on how to submit your reel will follow in due time. The top three videos will be selected by a jury and then posted on Instagram for voting.

By submitting a video, you agree that we may publish your video on our social media channels—even after the contest has ended. By participating in the contest, you also assure us that all persons recognizable in the video have given you their consent for the videos to be published on our social media channels.
