The climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. There is a need for innovative ideas and digital approaches to find solutions for a climate-neutral society. And since new challenges also require new ways of working and thinking, Samsung Electronics and Ekipa invite you to a Design Thinking Workshop at the University of Mannheim on Thursday, November 19, at 1 pm., where ideas are developed and elaborated along the motto “Tech4Good: Climate Action”.
In the four-hour digital workshop, you will receive a short introduction to the Design Thinking process. You will get to know the methods better by applying them directly in a team to work together on solutions against climate change. You will be guided and accompanied through all steps by Ekipa coaches:
- Empathize: Understanding and Observing
- Ideate: Generating ideas
- Prototype: Forming a prototype
- Pitch: Presenting your results
The workshop will not only give you an insight into the dynamic working methods of Design Thinking – a method for developing innovations that is now widely used in the business world. At best, you will take a concrete idea with you and the motivation to start your own project from it. At the beginning of 2021, Samsung will announce a new round of the “Solve for Tomorrow” program, where you can apply with your idea and will be accompanied in its implementation by professionals from business.
