World championship title for Teo Hinrichs

In a thrilling final, the German team won against the defending champions from Belgium in a penalty shootout after trailing 0:2 and with a final score of 3:3. Thus, the German national team secured the field hockey world championship title for the first time in 17 years. Congratulations to Teo Hinrichs and the whole team!

Teo Hinrichs is studying business administration at the University of Mannheim and has been supported by the top sports scholarship of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region since 2018.
