ENGAGE.EU Annual Conference in Tilburg

From November 2 to 4, members of the ENGAGE.EU community will meet for the second annual conference in Tilburg. One of the core topics will be the follow-up application ENGAGE.EU 2.0.

Host of this year's ENGAGE.EU annual conference is Tilburg University. After an informal kick-off event on November 2, the official opening will take place on Thursday, November 3, by Wim van de Donk (Rector Tilburg University) and Thomas Puhl (President University of Mannheim and ENGAGE.EU Coordinator). Guest speeches will be given by Lambert van Nistelrooij (former Member of the European Parliament) as well as Merwin de Jongh (founder and COO of Building Blocks).

This is followed by the actual core work, when Task Leaders, Key Task Members, Institutional Coordinators, and representatives of the Board of Learners meet and exchange ideas in plenary sessions and Work Package meetings. In addition, the Governing Board and Advisory Board will meet and discuss past and current issues. One of the core topics will be the new application for ENGAGE.EU 2.0. In addition, the strategic orientation of ENGAGED Research & Innovation and the expansion of regional partnerships within the framework of ENGAGED in society will be important cornerstones of the annual conference.

Finally, the two-year anniversary of ENGAGE.EU as a European University will of course be celebrated. We are looking forward to the results of this festive and intensive exchange.
