Expert Survey: Majority of Tax Researchers Advocate for a Reduction in Corporate Tax Burden

The German Business Panel is a long-term survey panel of the DFG-funded nationwide project “Accounting for Transparency.” Within this framework, it systematically and representatively examines how companies of different sizes perceive issues of corporate transparency. It also investigates how the increasing provision of information and growing regulation in the areas of accounting and taxation impact corporate decisions and the public. As a comprehensive, long-term survey panel, we provide data of unprecedented quality for research on corporate transparency and contribute to improving regulation and the economy. The German Business Panel is part of the Collaborative Research Center “TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency.”
