New Addition to the Business School: Till Muenster started as Assistant Professor of Accounting and Taxation

Prof. Muenster studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of Bielefeld before completing his M.Sc. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting at the University of Münster, including a semester as a visiting student at BI Norwegian Business School. From 2020 to 2025, he pursued his doctoral degree at the University of Münster while working as a Research Assistant, and most recently spent time as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin.

“I am excited to share my passion for accounting with my students and hopefully encourage them to be as passionate about the topic as I am. Aside from teaching, I’m very much looking forward to contributing to Mannheim’s amazing research group,” said Prof. Muenster during his greeting at the Business School.

It is a great pleasure to welcome Prof. Muenster to Mannheim Business School, where his expertise in disclosure and tax regulation, information flows, artificial intelligence, and labor-related issues in accounting will enrich both our teaching and research community.
