Doctoral Opportunity in Strategic Semiconductor Management with Volkswagen

We are pleased to announce a new doctoral opportunity in collaboration with our partner and sponsor Volkswagen. The position focuses on Strategic Semiconductor Management, a domain of growing strategic importance given the increasing semiconductor intensity of modern mobility technologies.

The doctoral researcher will work directly with Volkswagen's procurement and technology experts on topics such as semiconductor sourcing strategies, cross-industry benchmarking, demand and supply allocation models, crisis resilience, and the design of semiconductor-specific supplier performance systems. The doctoral research projects will be defined jointly with the Endowed Chair of Procurement.
