Professor Deutscher appointed to OECD expert panels

Last year, the OECD launched an international comparative study on vocational education and training (International VET Assessment). Professor Viola Deutscher was appointed to the international expert panels for the occupational groups “Business and Administration” and “Background Questionnaires”. The first milestones concern the development of frameworks for defining the relevant constructs and possibilities for their empirical recording. The long-term implementation of the comparative study, also known as “VET-PISA” is highly important for VET research and practice. The fact that Mannheim's business education is strongly represented here is due to numerous relevant preliminary works.
