Ruth Schültken received a Runner-Up Award for her dissertation at IPSERA 2025

Ruth Schültken received the Runner-Up Award for her dissertation titled “Intra- and Inter-Organizational Misalignment Problems in Supply Management” at the IPSERA (International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association) 2025 conference. Her research addresses how discrepancies arise between companies' sustainability intentions and their actual purchasing behavior. She also looks at the misalignment between the sustainability expectations of purchasing companies and the performance of their suppliers and between the traditional procurement process and the agile new product development process.
The IPSERA Dissertation Award is presented annually to outstanding doctoral research in public procurement and supply chain management.
