Schlossfest

At this year's 18th Schlossfest, the University of Mannheim is relying on the proven mix of art, culture, science, and party.

Starting at 3 p.m., anyone interested can learn more about the research at the University of Mannheim during the interactive science program. The music program kicks off at 6 p.m. on various stages. The traditional welcome for first-year students by President Professor Dr. Thomas Puhl, Mayor Christian Specht, and AStA representatives Wanja Pasdzierny and Celina Kapuscinski will take place at 6:30 p.m. on the Schlossbühne Ehrenhof. There will also be a Science Marathon, where scientists will provide insights into their research, as well as a poetry slam. The roof terrace will be open, and everyone is invited to enjoy the spectacular views over Mannheim from there. All visitors can wrap up the festival at the SWR3-Schneckenhof party with a DJ until 3 a.m.

With a heavy heart we have to charge an entrance fee of 5 euros again this year. The evening box-office opens at 5.30 p.m.
