The Mannheim Master in Finance, Accounting and Taxation – MMFACT for short – offers you an internationally oriented, practical and academically sound education that prepares you for a successful career in the finance departments of large corporations, banks and consulting firms. The MMFACT can also be the basis for an academic career or for a career as a tax consultant or auditor.

Graduates of the MMFACT have comprehensive specialist knowledge in the core disciplines, are excellently trained in quantitative methods and have practical experience in dealing with complex data sets.

Why MMFACT?

The degree program combines the relevant specialist knowledge in the core areas of finance, accounting and taxation with quantitatively oriented methodological training. One focus is on data analytics and the application-oriented handling of data. International mobility

The Business School maintains several contacts to Business Schools abroad. Students of the MMFACT program will get the opportunity to apply for a study abroad semester at one of the Business School’s partnering institutions. Above that, the School plans to offer intensive short programs and case competitions to the MMFACT students which will have an international scope and might include international mobility too. Further information will be provided upon enrollment.

The Mannheim Master in Operations and Supply Chain Management has convinced you and you’re ready to apply? We’re excited to hear that!

Our selection process distinguishes between admission requirements and selection criteria:

Admission Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree comprising at least 180 ECTS credits or a minimum of 3 years of study
  • At least 36 ECTS credits in core business administration courses from a recognized institution
  • English language proficiency at C1 level

Selection Criteria

  • Final grade of your undergraduate degree
  • GMAT or GRE score
  • Relevant academic background with at least 30 ECTS credits in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics of which at least 12 ECTS credits in Economics
  • Semester or full degree completed abroad
  • Relevant practical experience (e.g., internships, professional experience)

Contributions and tuition fees

For German citizens and students from other EU countries, only the regular semester fee is charged. International students from non-EU countries and students taking up a second degree course pay an additional tuition fee of €1,500 or €650 per semester, respectively.

There are various scholarship opportunities that can provide financial support – further information can be found here. Students also have the opportunity to work part-time during their studies in order to gain practical experience and help finance their studies.
