First IBEA Homecoming at the University of Mannheim

On 24 June, 130 students from the six cohorts of the International Business Education Alliance (IBEA) programme came to Mannheim to celebrate the first IBEA homecoming. The event was the first time that current students and alumni met across cohorts. Representatives from the partner universities, ESSEC Business School, Fundação Getulio Vargas and the University of South Carolina, also attended. At the official welcome reception in the palace of the University of Mannheim, Prof. Bischof and Prof. Spengel welcomed all participants. Alumni from the different years also presented their experiences, accompanied by videos and pictures. “These presentations showed that each cohort is truly unique and diverse,” said Prof. Bischof. The event concluded with a dinner at the Rheinterassen.
