His research interests focus on collaboration in teams and organizations and its effects on organizational performance. He is particularly interested in how diversity, responsible leadership, and organizational change efforts shape collaboration dynamics and organizational performance.
With a PhD in Decision Sciences from the University of Konstanz and a Master's degree in Management and Politics from the University of Konstanz, Reinwald brings an interdisciplinary academic background to Mannheim Business School.
Reinwald was most recently an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Leadership and Organization at LMU Munich. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz. He was also a visiting researcher at UniSA Business, University of South Australia, in 2022.
