New publication: Gender Representation and Willingness to Co-Produce

Martin Sievert recently published a research article in the journal Public Administration (VHB: B)

This research uses a survey experiment to examine the effects of gender representation on individuals’ willingness to participate in coproduction. The results indicate that gender representation does, indeed, not affect coproduction intentions. These findings contradict previous studies and point to uncertainty as an important boundary condition.

The article is published Open Access and available here. Further information regarding the experiment design are available at the Open Science Framework. The data analysis and data set can be accessed and rerun at CodeOcean.
