University of Mannheim Business School research prizes awarded

Stefan Ruenzi and Robert Strohmeyer awarded for research accomplishments

The University of Mannheim Business School Research Awards were granted again this year during the Faculty's internal Convention Meeting on 11 May. The “Senior Researcher Award” and the “Junior Researcher Award” are donated by Mannheim Business School gGmbH and are intended to underline the importance of top research for the Faculty of Business Administration and to make the recognition of the academic achievement of the award winners visible.

Robert Strohmeyer received the “Junior Research Award”, Stefan Ruenzi was awarded the “Senior Researcher Award”. The award recognises the outstanding publications of the two faculty members over the past five years.

Stefan Ruenzi, holder of the Chair of International Finance, expresses his gratitude for the recognition: “The award recognizes our high-quality and at the same time practical research work and motivates us to continue to push forward with first-class research in the future”. Dr. Robert Strohmeyer, Member of the Chair of SME Research and Entrepreneurship, is pleased about the appreciation of high-quality research at the University of Mannheim. “Moreover, the prize money will help me to expand my research activities”.

Both prizes are endowed with 10,000€ for research-related purposes.
