Rooted in the cutting-edge research and industry relevance that define Mannheim Business School, the MMOSCM prepares you for leadership at the forefront of global Operations & Supply Chain Management. This fully English-taught program combines rigorous, analytics-driven training with real-world application. Grounded in the insight that matching supply and demand lies at the heart of every business, the program equips you with advanced analytical and managerial skills to make evidence-based decisions, master trade-offs, and create durable competitive advantage.
Join a cohort of ambitious peers at one of Europe’s most prestigious business schools, become highly sought after in the global job market, and start shaping the future of supply chains.
The Mannheim Diamond: See the big picture – and act with precision.
End-to-end coverage & practical relevance: You gain a holistic perspective on value creation across the entire supply chain – procurement, production, logistics, and service operations – guided by leading faculty with strong industry ties. Strategy development and operational planning are treated within one system, enabling you to design the mechanisms through which operational capabilities translate into competitive advantage in practice.
Analytics & management levers: You master the full analytics spectrum – descriptive, predictive, prescriptive – to navigate performance trade-offs. A rigorous toolkit of quantitative models, data analysis methods, and evidence-based frameworks equips you to identify and pull the right levers on capacity, inventory, processes, and service levels to optimize outcomes.
In contrast to programs with a narrow focus, the MMOSCM integrates all four pillars into a coherent program. This trains managers who understand the overall system and can act decisively.
In the core curriculum, you will acquire a solid foundation in management approaches, analytical methods and decision-making processes along the entire value chain. In the elective area (up to 80 ECTS credits including Master's thesis), you will shape your profile according to your career goals – for example in the areas of sustainability, resilience or digital transformation – with a strong focus on modeling complex problems and using analytical methods to solve strategic issues.
