Dear students,
the Chair of Production Management will offer two master's courses in the upcoming spring term:
- OPM 661: Business Analytics – Robust Planning in Stochastic Systems
- OPM 662: Business Analytics – Modeling and Optimization
Both of these courses aim to gain practical insights in Business Analytics with the programming language Python. OPM 661 focuses on analytical solution approaches from predictive and prescriptive analytics to support robust decisions. On the other hand, OPM 662 focuses on prescriptive analytics techniques such as modeling and optimization. Both courses are taught in an integrated manner (lectures + exercises), where students have to work on programming exercises and assignments in groups.
Please note that both OPM 561 and OPM 560 are prerequisites for these courses. For further course details and requirements please see the [1] and [2].
Due to limited capacity, please make sure to register in time through Portal2. You can register by February 8th and you will be informed about the admission to the course by February 9th.
