  • Science community

    At the University of Mannheim, doctoral students regularly have the opportunity to network through various events. These include the following events:

    • Onboarding Events: The Business School of the University of Mannheim offers an onboarding event for new members of the Business School every semester. 
    • Doctoral Students' Regulars' Table: Every last Thursday of the month at 7 p.m., all interested students are invited to join the monthly “Stammtisch”, where doctoral students from all faculties come together.
    • Workshops: The Business School has a wide network of corporate partners from various industries who regularly visit the campus and organize workshops. These are organized by the Business School's Dean's Office and are also open to doctoral students. 
    • Meetings of the doctoral representatives: The doctoral representatives of the Business School meet regularly when votes on relevant matters are required. Invitations to all meetings are sent out in advance by e-mail.
    • After-research get-togethers: The after-research get-together is a networking event for doctoral students of the Business School, organized by the Dean's Office, once per semester.
