Mannheim Master in Management: Specialization in Human Resource Management

Employees are a vital factor in the success of a company. In the competition for the smartest brains, companies must develop and execute a human resources strategy which ensures the best possible deployment of employees within the company – beginning with recruiting and personnel selection to employee development and payment.

Within the specialization in Human Resource Management, students will be prepared for a profession in the sector of human resource management as well as in consulting. Accordingly,  in-depth knowledge on key subfunctions in HR is being taught, for students to acquire the necessary skills to develop business-specific HR strategies and implement them in an international context. Data is also playing an increasingly important role in HR. Teaching is therefore characterized by an evidence-based approach, in which scientific findings and data analyses complement the “soft” factors in HR.
